Bill Legler

Certifications: Course Director Trainer, Course Director, Instructor Trainer, Instructor, Dive Master, Ice Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Photographer, Advanced Rescue Diver, Advanced Nitrox Diver.

   Started diving at a very early age. Became certified in 1984 as an SSI advanced open water diver after a river drift in the Niagara River. Continued my education and earned my NAUI Divemaster status in 1989. Went on to become a NAUI instructor in 1991 and Course director five years later in 1996. Served as the NAUI Northeast Representative for two and a half years from 2014 to mid 2016 where I earned Course Director Trainer Status in the fall of 2015. Taught IT and CD programs at the US Military academy at West Point and the Coast Guard Academy in CT. Staffed a training session for FDNY in early 2015 at West Palm Beach Florida. Dived all four corners on the continental US and three out of the five Great lakes. Have done many dives in the Caribbean and Bermuda throughout the years.
