Introduction to Scuba / Passport Scuba Diver Program

 

 Imagine what it’s like to slip below the surface and continue breathing while you float weightlessly underwater!

The NAUI Introduction to Scuba and Passport Scuba Diver program is an introductory scuba program of the National Association of Underwater Instructors. The Introduction to Scuba portion of the program is designed to simply introduce you to scuba diving in a pool or confined water. Upon successful completion of the Passport Scuba Diver portion of this program, you may continue to enjoy scuba diving under the direct supervision of a NAUI Instructor for up to 12 months. Engaging in such activities during the initial 12-month period automatically extends your passport for an additional 12 months.

As an active Passport holder, you are encouraged to continue your diving education by attending a NAUI Scuba Diver Certification Program. The successful completion of a NAUI Scuba Diver Program bestows upon you the freedom to dive independent of direct supervision, and if you enroll within six months of your most recent Passport experience, your skills proficiency may be credited towards the requirements of the course. The award of this credit is at the sole discretion of the receiving NAUI Instructor or Facility.

The NAUI PASSPORT SCUBA DIVER Program is certified and meets ISO LEVEL 1 “SUPERVISED DIVER” Standards.

Getting started is easy! Individuals ages 10+ and in good physical condition may enroll in a NAUI Introduction to Scuba and Passport Diver program.
